Hi Everyone,
Now I use this little tool that was created in 2011 or 2012 and I am just wondering if any of you use this installer?

This as I said was in the earlier years of rtr. Back then the validator was still new, we had plenty of model numbers to go around, and newer fan members still had problems loading the files in their proper places.Lots of games were crashed by files not being entered properly. This tool was designed by Doug4347. He also later made on called LV Multi model installer which for some reason was harder to get used to for me. I am going to go back and try to figure that one out in the next week or so.
When models were made then, they had model numbers, an assigned xli file and were validated to that file so that anyone could install them with limited knowledge. The model file consisted of: Texture folders ie: Neil PDK Dave 001haz etc .x Files(Loose or in a folder)
.xli file ( with the numbered model entered and validated) add_obj2 was used so much Capt Paul added rsu.xli,sur.xli a totsl of six variations of those letter. All of which could be validated using the XM Theme Editor.
ltex.list file(enginespots.list etc
and installation instruction.txt file
If all those thing existed the model installer would install the whole nine yards(everything) into the proper corresponding file in RTR with just a push of a button.
It helped lower the error rate of newbies vastly.
I use it mainly when installing a new version of RTR, because it speeds up reinstalling all of the older files.
So if you want to try it out I will give you a link(Doug has gone elsewhere I believe as has so many others) Little fact here. I was on Cnet.com the other day and saw that the original rtr game had been downloaded from there site over 300,000 times. I just wonder how man games of rtr have been download from all the other sites it is available from.
DOWNLOAD
There are two pdf files(of installation and use) in the folder you should read once you have extracted the zip contents.
I will try to help if you need it.
