I did try to get a train on rtr that allowed me to have a view from inside the cab. I got this This was just a rough model. I finally abandoned the work because the train engine had to be big to be able to get inside with the rtr camera.
To better explain the problem, I used an existing model from Marko, his tram from Dale's City2. I made the windows transparent so you could see through them.
Not only was the size a problem, but a train engine would have to be made especially for this purpose. It would have to be made as a shell with the insides textured to look like the cab,
These picks might help to show the problems and why this is still sitting on the shelf of my to do list. Maybe someday!

And a comparison of the size need to be able to get inside with the rtr camera.

Wow that's a big engine! I wanted to know because other train games had train cabs. I always wanted a train cab for RTR. So I will try and do this. I'll tell you how it goes.
