Hello out there,
I had moved to a new computer and brought RTR! in. I tried to run everything but kept getting a 0xc000007b error which had to do with RTR being 32 bit software but has problems running in the 64 Windows 11. I already tried to reinstall or find the right drivers but nothing else seems to be working. It just seems to work with just the RTR 1.4 version with nothing added to it. This wasn't a problem with my other computer which also was 64 but now is a problem here. I could try to run administrator, but I have yet to find the path on the computer to use it.
Has anyone else ran into this problem with RTR! in Windows 11?

I don't know if I can advise you because I still have Windows 10 32 bit myself... But I found this advice on Google: In Explorer, in the Rule the Rail folder, highlight the .exe file (rtr.exe) and open the Menu with the right mouse button. Select the option: 'Properties'. In the opened 'Properties' window, you need to select the 'Compatibility' tab and check the box 'Run this program in compatibility mode for' and select the version of the Windows operating system for which the program was originally intended. We confirm our choice by clicking the 'Apply' button. In theory it could help... Another option is to go to the official Microsoft website and enter 0xc000007b in the search field. You should see several links to sites with instructions on how to solve this problem...

How odd..! I had posted exactly this same process, half an hour ago, but it's not come through the System..! Oh, well; as long as the issue gets resolved, but it's odd, s'all.

If the problem can be solved, it would be good to post here which procedure works so that those who are moving from Windows 32 bit to 64 bit in the future will know how to deal with this problem...

Problem solved! I thought I had to start over again reloading RTR from the beginning. It was killing me that I kept getting that 0xc000007b error. But Then I thought, "What if I just copied the "Rule The Rail!" folder over to the new computer intact without reloading any packs?" When I did that and started RTR! from the folder, that's all it took, I'm back in business, and I'm even able to save new things on my boards! Thanks again to those who helped and reached out when there was a problem

I'm glad the problem is solved, but can you elaborate a bit on the procedure? If I understand correctly, you tried to install the RTR game on a new PC with Windows 11 64 bit using the .exe installation files of the basic packages. Error 0xc000007b occurred when trying to start RTR. So you deleted the RTR folder from the Program Files folder (or where your RTR was installed) and replaced it with the RTR folder from the old PC and it worked? Am I understanding this correctly?

Practically Starfighter, that's what I did. I dumped the new RTR! folder from the new computer since it wasn't working and just transferred the working "Rule The Rail!" folder as it was, (no changes to the file name) from the previous unit to the new PC without reloading the 1.5 exe. and expansive packs and had a positive startup. But I'll add into anyone new who downloads the 1.5 exe. from either Brainbombers or Steam and has an RTR! start error stating a missing dx3dll file they should download both Win32.dll and dx3dll files from microsoft.com for the 32 and WOWsys64 windows files if those errors do occur.
Also, I did have a password issue on the other PC and that was fixed which is why the folder is running. So if you have that problem, you want to go here....https://youtu.be/TzTaaBZet3Q?si=6X8mHysUkQ8w08Da

Thanks for the tip, Minneapolistest!
In any case, this procedure will be useful not only for me, but also for other members of the community who will want to switch from Windows 32 bit to Windows 64 bit, want to run the good old RTR there and encounter the same problem!
