So far, I've been able to make models and run them in RTR! The problem is I'm not able to save changes on my boards, or the autosave won't either.
I have already reinstalled the packs and have also reinstalled the 1.5 and used the 1.4. version as a reboot. I also check the startlog and found nothing that stuck out. I have also used an empty startlog.
Is there something else that someone knows that I didn't try yet?

Did it revert to the demo version? Or did it just say, "Save unsuccessful"?

I'm digging into the problem of getting a "save unsuccessful" error.... When I checked the startlog, it says I have a pack(s)missing in my ROA file for one of my boards, and it's indicating possibly some ID numbers in 10026 range....Is there a pack that might have included ID numbers in the 10,000s? This could be what's causing the problem....

I would recommend removing all ROA files from the main RTR folder, backing them up, running RTR and creating a new, test layout. Insert a model from the existing offer into the test layout and save the layout. If the test layout with the model is successfully saved, you can gradually return the backed-up ROA files to the main folder and always make some change in the test layout that you save. With this procedure, you will find out in which layout you have the models that you have correctly installed, until you insert the ROA file, which shows an error - you probably have some models there that you lost from the installation and you need to install them again. Another option is to visit the official RTR website, in the Downloads section there are images of the models that each installation package contains, and at the same time visit the model list pages from Gnome with the model identification numbers. By comparing the images of the models from each package with the models from Gnome's list with ID numbers 10000 and above, you will find out which package you are missing... I can't think of anything smarter... STARFIGHTER

Hey fellows, that did the trick! Going to Gnome's site under the 10000s section, it was a trolley, a signal bridge, and a crossbuck causing the trouble. That's what was missing, and I put them in the obj.2 xli file. Thanks a lot Boots for the hint! I'm still not getting a save mode, but at least I have my board back and still have to try a clean board to find out if autosave is working again thanks for all your help.... To Starfighter: You have yet to run out of smarts!

I also recommend installing X-Validator and XLI Checker5. X-Validator checks the checksum of the embedded models (.x files) in the .xli files and makes a correction if there is an error. XLI Checker5 will load all .x, .xli, texture files and check for missing or duplicate ID numbers. This might also help...
