I don't know if anyone missed me, but here I am, your fellow "train" (or "Cheddar" for those who know me from other places), I don't have anything relevant to share regarding Rule the Rail or any updates on anything, its been around 3 months since my last post and last time I came here, I think.
Ever since February my personal life has got the best out of me and I have been unable to barely even make any type of 3D models, much less any type of RTR content or continue helping people and working on getting scratch-made steam engines working into "Rule the Rail" I study 9 hours a day and I have around 4 hours of free time 4 days a week to use my computer, which leave me with near to no time to do anything, however I do try to make the best out of my sparse free time.
That also means that I don't know the progress on "dad" and "jnr"'s projects regarding scratch-made steam engines ever since December or January, and there is a bunch of files that they have sent to me on my email that I haven't imported and tested into the game yet (I really hope they managed to find someone else to do it for them though), I hope their project is going on alright.
Not only that, but for those who don't know, I'm personally not a huge railfan (I like engines mostly because of "The Railway Series" and "Thomas the Tank Engine", however I do have some knowledge about real life engines and railways), meaning that Rule the Rail is not my main hobbie unfortunately, meaning that I actually have other bigger projects to focus.
At the moment I'm working on some blender renders, and coding C# and JavaScript.
The Rule the Rail decomp project still exists, despite a long hiatus, I'd love to share what we currently have (we haven't touched it in a while though), however I don't know if I'm allowed to share info without permission from DINOTICK, I'm not sure if he even has free time for that anymore either.
Anyways, that's all I wanted to say regarding the fact I have been missing for a while, I know no one asked for this post but I do not like leaving people in the dark, now to the Rule the Rail stuff, which I do have very few things to talk about.
It has come to my attention that the Oliver model that came alongside my "Thomas the Tank Engine" pack is malfunctional.
Apparently Oliver's body is rotating alongside one of it's wheels, which is an issue that is quite easy to fix despite requiring me to re-export the whole model. I do have plans of fixing it in the future, I don't know when though, but when I do I plan to fix a whole bunch of problems on the other models which I will list below:
I will admit that both Duck and Oliver's models were made in a slight rush since I was very desperate to have specifically 10 engines released on this pack, I'm very sorry for doing this and I plan to re-release the whole 1-8 engines pack in the future featuring improved versions of all models that do need fixing, I also plan to release more TTTE content in the future for the game, I also do have plans of modelling real life steam engines, and one day finishing that old Duchess of Atholl model I started a few years ago and releasing it to the public.
Another thing I'd like to comment on is that earlier this year joined a team of modellers which in the possible future may have some interest in making steam engine models for this game, though nothing has been confirmed yet and I cannot guarantee anything yet.
I plan to possibly return to making RTR content around July, and then November and beyond, since there won't be any school, meaning I will have 100% free time for anything.
That's all I wanted to share with you all, have a good evening! I will be looking at the new posts on the forum for the next few minutes.

- Thomas' chassis is quite innaccurate to the BR55 chassis.
- The UV of one of Edward's bogie wheels is incorrect, displaying a driving wheel instead of a bogie wheel. (Though the reason for this issue is because the model uses the chassis of "Locomotive_02" from the original game, which has that faulty UV on its rear bogie, which was moved forward for Edward's model).
- "Old Shape Henry"'s model has several inaccuracies when compared to the TV series, though that can be easily fixed via a retexture, but I personally prefer getting a new model made instead.
- Gordon's model is slightly off-centered, resulting in a gap between his tender and himself.
- Duck's model has misaligned UVs on the coupling
- Duck's chassis is quite innaccurate to the BR55 chassis.
- Duck's cab cover is incorrect.
- All models with the exception of Thomas, Edward and James did not have "Edge-split" enabled before exporting was made, resulting in every edge looking smooth instead of the beveled ones only.
