Good evening... I'm struggling to import models into RTR; I don't understand why, with some numbers (1011, for example, in my basic system...) it imports, and runs, but when I use a higher number (1256, as I want to add animation...), iRTR crashes. The Startlog doesn't help much... Reading from file: add_trains4.xli - BR75.X Texture loaded successfully: Scenes\BR75\BR75.dds Texture already loaded: Scenes\BR75\BR75.dds Texture already loaded: Scenes\BR75\BR75.dds Texture already loaded: Scenes\BR75\BR75.dds Texture already loaded: Scenes\BR75\BR75.dds Texture already loaded: Scenes\BR75\BR75.dds Texture already loaded: Scenes\BR75\BR75.dds Texture already loaded: Scenes\BR75\BR75.dds Texture already loaded: Scenes\BR75\BR75.dds Texture already loaded: Scenes\BR75\BR75.dds Texture already loaded: Scenes\BR75\BR75.dds Half length: 2.628600 objId: 1256 ... with no further details. I've attached a 'zip' file with the Fragmotion model and Textures, the x-file and my Xli file (change the numbers to suit your system if necessary...). It's only one Bone for now, and no animation; these will be added once this minimum can be imported into RTR successfully. Baby steps. Any explanation for the crash..? Hi Douglas The x file shows 2 sections where there are no texture file paths, I suspect there are 2 parts of mesh missing from the model. I have found one (see picture ) I have highlighted in red I haven't found the other one yet But I am still looking I have enclosed the 2 sections of the x file that show the missing texture file paths, the first section, is the first texture entry in the x file and the other one is about in the middle of the x file Regards Jnr link filehorst.de/d/eIyJpqel

OK, understood, but then, why does this one crash (or rather how to fix it...)..? There are no faces without material, as there are no faces, nor vertices, nor material. If I change the ID to 1016, it is imported (and runs, maybe, but nothing can be seen, obviously...). There's something to do with this range of numbers (1250 etc...) that upsets things, but what..? Good Morning Douglas Have you got access to Gnome's RTR web page? if not here is the link gnomertr.x10.bz/ please add it to your favorite menu it's a godsend when it comes to models and model numbers. If you go to the Gnomes page and hover the cursor over RTR bits then click on ID Numbers then scroll down this page you will come to the RTR ID numbers list there are 7 pages of models and ID numbers applicable to each model. Click on the page number to view that page, this should give you an insight into model numbers (if a model number does not appear on the Gnomes list then it's not a model number. Have you just got the one copy of RTR? you need to have a second mini RTR solely for testing this rules out the possibility of a model number clash. The mini RTR is a reduced version of RTR which has no models. Model numbers, not all engine-type model numbers are animated the only engine-type model numbers that are animated are engines that have moving wheels You will have to reset the file path on your x validator for the mini RTR if you choose to use it. link for New Mini RTR filehorst.de/d/efaHpcJw Later today I will send you a wheelset for the model BR 75 I will remove the animation, and you can add your own animation and we will go from there Best Regards Jnr
