I have managed to rip open the game's C and Assembly code... It was tricky but hey. I am still unsure on how to recompile as this is the whole point of the decompilation. Right now the source is pretty much unreadable and I need to fix that soon as long as fix up some other things so you can easily turn the source back into rtr.exe so you can modify the game. The first image is the main c script, the second image is the menu functionality and runtime script... Oh boy... This will require a lot of sleep loss. No task is too big for le denotick I suppose.

Hi dinotick,
I won't discourage you, but this is a pretty endless and aweful trial. I can tell you, because I already tried a few years ago. Maybe you got stronger methods and experience than me, but for that the source is simply to large, it would take ages!

Dino, have you considered or looked into using ChatGPT to decompile or try and make progress in some way? ive seen it can be used to write code in seconds was wondering if it could be used to do the opposite??

Why would that work? ChatGPT cannot give you files and only text and is highly limited... Nor can I give IT files... Plus you're limited to like 200 words and there's not likely enough text on the internet about RTR's code... Why would that work exactly?

Been working on it, I've been busy with my film studio because that's how I mostly make money, however I am wondering the best way to make this happen and sorting out the decryption for the files as of right now and I am trying to talk to the studio for source code myself. So far I think I have a shot of actually getting the source code from them via support emails
