Thought I'd start this off. The idea behind this thread is for discussion about other games that you may play. It's interesting to know what others play and folk may find that there are games that may interest them. So aside from RTR, I also play Football Manager, OpenTTD, and strategy games such as Command & Conquer, Total War and Silent Hunter. I can spend hours upon hours playing these games. I enjoy a game that is immersive and has a sense of reality to it. So over to you, what else do you enjoy playing aside RTR?

I have FlightGear, an open-source flight simulator. I also repaint liveries for some of their aircraft too....

I spend a bit of time with Cities:Skylines. Interestingly, the area I find myself working on the most is public transit systems: rail service, trams, monorails, etc.
Once a train fan, always a train fan.

I've been getting really into OpenTTD lately. It's an open source version of Transport Tycoon, constantly updated and loads of add ons for it. Takes up a bit too much of my time!!!

I use it mostly for train pix, but have all kinds of stuff there. Since a while I made some new threads; "Grafitti & Signs", "Neon" & "Storefronts". I use them for inspiration to new repaintings. I have more than 4000 pix. U can follow other members (Jacob Dettlinger) & get new inspiration by mail. It's free. - Boots127 Link; www.pinterest.se/bengttrnlund/_saved/

Narrow Gauge in RTR
Simply tinker new narrow-gauge tracks and lay them over the original tracks. The same as with the roads. This is the only way to build a narrow-gauge railway. The EXE. File from RTR cannot be opened. We have already made such attempts. Requests to get the original code files have been made rejected.
Incorrect model files may be sent to me. As everyone probably already knows, I no longer build models. I just don't have the time or desire to do it anymore.

Hi, Is anyone interested in an older portable version of FragMotion? It works just as well as the new version. Just start the program. Download: workupload.com/start/L77JmwxChgfFG Tomi

The code is already included in RTR. You only have to look at all the files that belong to the turntable. Then you figure it out yourself. VG Tomi

Thanks Tomi. I tried it and it works good. It does not require you to do the prayer. I also play Trainz. It's kind of like RTR. You can build a layout and drive your train. The train controls are different because you also have the lights, brakes, and horn. I also do Cities: Skylines like Dale. Another friend of mine also played that game too. I also play Microsoft Flight Simulator X also known as FSX from 2006. FSX I had for many years. I also repaint aircraft for that simulator too. I have tried FlightGear too.

Yeah, this is one of the ideas I'm having, though it won't look very pleasing visually. Did y'all ever try to decompile the .exe file? I think that's possible considering the resources available nowadays. I feel bad for the fact that y'all werent unable to get the original game's source code :/ I'd like to have more info on what happened around that time if possible. I just can't think of an easy way to pull of narrow gauge stuff in RTR for now, but I think I'm gonna be fine if I stick just to standard gauge. Even though you retired from making models, can you share with me where I can find your old models? -Train
